Father Figures is a raunchy comedy about twin brothers played by Owen Wilson and Ed Helms, who go on a road trip to discover the identity of their birth father.

Having grown apart while living their own lives, the twins grew are now polar opposites. It is only by uncovering their family secrets that they are able to set aside their differences and accept each other. Because that’s what family does.

Father Figures is filled with sincere wackiness and sappiness. However, the film never quite figures out whether it wants to be a zippy road movie or a more dialogue-driven drama and comedy.

This is a film that’s inoffensively entertaining from start to finish.
